International exchange events

We regularly hold international exchange events
covering a wide range of themes.

We hold both in-person events, mainly in Tokyo and Osaka, and online events. These range from events of around 10 people at somebody’s home to large-scale events of around 100 people. These events are held by Japanese language teachers, so the majority of the events will be centered around Japanese. We hope that foreign nationals who want to speak Japanese a lot, as well as Japanese people who struggle with foreign languages, will feel free to take part.

I was able to speak a lot of Japanese!

At other international exchange events there were more people speaking English than Japanese, so I was not able to use my Japanese very much. This event was organized by Japanese language teachers, so they spoke to me in easy-to-understand Japanese. I plan to participate in other events.

I made lots of new friends!

I am a student in an OHANA Japanese language class. A friend invited me to participate in a Japanese and Korean language exchange event. Thanks to this, I was able to make friends with Japanese people who speak Korean. I was able to relax and participate with peace of mind because the event was held in my usual classroom and the teacher was nearby.

I enjoyed international exchange in Japanese!

I am currently studying English, but I can hardly speak any English. As it was an event held by a Japanese language teacher, I decided to participate. I was able to enjoy fun events I had not seen at other events and had a great time. Since then, I have been participating regularly. I am interested in becoming a Japanese language teacher.
